Social Campfire and Stevie Johnson’s HBHF are at it again with Talent Pool, a free platform and combine program to help athletes go from the couch to showcasing their talents nationally. Yes, Talent Pool is led by the one and only former Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson, so athletes are able to enjoy unprecedented reach from the platform we’ve created.

In the past, we created the HBHF website and hub, worked on several social media strategies, and wrote content to reach the right people in football, community endeavors, and entrepreneurship, but in my opinion, this project is on a different level.

For this project, I:

• Designed the page through MailChimp, just like the HBHF site we made back in 2023
• Created a private, secure database to hold athletes’ information
• Planned content and copy alongside Stevie, then wrote it into something palatable for the masses
• Created graphics
• Created an official Talent Pool logo
• Spearheaded SEO efforts and calls to action

If you’re an athlete interested in being a part of Talent Pool, you can join from anywhere in the United States. If you’re willing to travel, you can be part of any combine you want. However, there will be combines and community markets (for vendors!) coming your way shortly. If you’re a company who wants to be part of a national network, the community markets are definitely for you.
